“ We love this Big Boy! The food was cooked correctly. You know what I mean, eggs were not overcooked and the bacon wasn't super crispy so you worried about chipping a tooth. Cricket, (the waitress) ran around from table to table filling coffees and checking with the customers. A great place to stop if you need to chill and feed. ”

“ I’ve been going to big boy for a while now and they all know me by name (Jon). Tonight they screwed up with my food and forgot to make it or something like that. and I totally get it. It happens sometimes so no big deal at all. They made my food very fast while I waited. Even gave me a Pepsi while I waited. She was friendly, positive, and kept the service flowing smoothly without skipping a beat. There was a small mistake with our order, but Jamie handled it with sincerity and professionalism. The manager also came over personally to apologize and offered a complimentary item for the inconvenience, which was greatly appreciated. It's refreshing to see a family-owned restaurant where the staff takes real pride in their work and customer service. Highly recommend this location, and we’ll definitely be back! ”
“ Emma is terrific. She has been out favorite and only waitress for many years. We come the first Friday of the month and she has our spot already for us. ”
“ Let me start with; The fish is Soooo Good!!! Better than even Red Lobster's fish! It is soft, flakey and moist! We drive about 40 minutes just for their fish and chips basket! It comes with fries (of course) hushpuppies and coleslaw. The filets come in different sizes, so you may get 2 -4 pieces depending on their sizes. If you don't like coleslaw, the fresh all you can eat fruit, soup and salad bar is only 5.95 when added on to your meal. (Alone I think it is 11.95 or 12.95 as of this post.) And don't forget the pretzel bites and Strawberry Shakes!!! Oh so delicious! Warning... you might need a bigger table for all the yummy food, especially if you have more than 2 people dining! And all of the times that we have gone to the Mason, Michigan Big Boy, the table service has been absolutely exceptional! It's well worth the drive, money, effort and time in my opinion! Check it out for yourself and enjoy! (In the attached picture, I think the basket is minus 1 piece of fish cuz I think I ate it. ) ”
